We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified meetings with construction companies and trade contractors across the U.S.

About VASL

VASL helps contractors and trade businesses across the United States scale their operations by providing outsourced preconstruction support for example estimation, ITBs, Pricing and back-office solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Make 150–250+ outbound calls daily using Apollo, JustCall, Elto, Orum, Nooks, Aircall, or similar power dialers.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Prospect and engage decision-makers, including business owners, presidents, estimators, chief estimators, project managers, operations managers, and office managers.
  • Introduce VASL’s estimating, takeoff, pricing, and financial services to prospective clients.
  • Understand each prospect’s bidding process, estimating capacity, and operational challenges.
  • Qualify opportunities and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, BuildingConnected, PlanHub, and other available resources.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently follow up with prospects.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly outreach and meeting goals.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outbound B2B sales development or cold-calling experience.
  • Experience selling into the U.S. market.
  • Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral accent.
  • Strong objection-handling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience using Apollo, JustCall, Elto, Orum, Nooks, Aircall, or similar outbound sales platforms.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Comfortable working U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to contractors, subcontractors, or construction companies.
  • Understanding of construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, material takeoffs, bid management, pricing, or preconstruction services.
  • Experience selling estimating services, construction software, bookkeeping, controller services, payroll, staffing, or other B2B services to the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with BuildingConnected, PlanHub, ConstructConnect, Procore, or similar construction platforms is a plus.
