Title: Design Engineer / Technical Enablement Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Location: Plaza ONE, Next to PSO pump, Main GT road near DHA Phase 2 Gate 1, Islamabad
Timings: 2 PM -11 PM (Pakistan Standard Time)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Design Engineer / Technical Enablement Engineer to support company growth by removing friction from engineering and sales workflows. This role is designed for a technically strong professional who values accuracy, structure, and repeatability, and who takes pride in building systems that scale.
This is not a quota-carrying sales role and not business development. Instead, it is a hands-on engineering position focused on technical drawings, documentation, and process design that enable sales without compromising intellectual property or engineering rigor.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a reusable library of sanitized industrial control panel drawings that are safe for sales and marketing use
- Design sales-ready technical drawings that clearly communicate system capabilities without exposing proprietary or customer-specific information
- Create drawing-based technical assets to support sales conversations, scoping discussions, and customer education
- Modify and adapt existing control panel drawings for external use, including “whitewashing” real project drawings
- Work closely with internal engineers to understand design intent, constraints, and standards
- Translate engineering workflows into clear, step-by-step documentation that can be reused consistently
- Establish and document guidelines defining what technical materials can be shared externally and how
- Maintain and improve technical assets as engineering standards and practices evolve
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, or Mechatronics.
- Hands-on experience designing industrial control panels
- Strong familiarity with UL 508A standards and how they influence design decisions
- Ability to accurately read, understand, and modify drawings created by other engineers
- High attention to detail and strong respect for technical standards and documentation
- 3–5 years of 3D modeling experience (Fusion 360 experience strongly preferred)
- Comfortable working independently while owning a defined technical domain
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience working in a panel shop or systems integrator environment
- Prior experience creating engineering documentation, standards, or training materials
- Comfort working in a structured, remote environment with clear expectations
