About VASL
We are looking for a highly competent and detail-oriented Manager – Accounting & Finance to lead accounting operations, manage client portfolios, supervise teams, and ensure high-quality financial service delivery to US-based clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping operations for US-based clients
- Supervise and mentor bookkeeping specialists and associate-level resources
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and reports
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP principles
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review AP, AR, payroll, and cash flow management processes
- Coordinate with clients directly through email and meetings
- Improve internal SOPs, workflows, and reporting processes
- Monitor team productivity, deadlines, and deliverables
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Assist leadership in scaling finance operations and service quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA / CA / CPA qualification or partially qualified candidates preferred
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience handling US-based clients is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Software Knowledge
Candidates with experience in the following tools will be preferred: - QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Xero
- NetSuite
- Zoho Books
- Microsoft Excel
- Bill.com / Expensify (preferred)
