Timings: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time (US Shift)

Internship Overview:

As a Construction Estimation Intern at VASL, you will work under the mentorship of experienced estimators and project managers. You will gain hands-on experience in reviewing construction drawings, performing material and labor takeoffs, preparing cost estimates, and learning industry-standard estimation tools. This internship is designed to prepare you for a successful career in construction estimation across multiple divisions.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in reviewing project drawings, site plans, and specifications.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for materials and labor under supervision.
  • Support in preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.
  • Learn and use estimation software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to gather project information.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documents.
Qualification: 
  • Final year student or recent graduate in BSc Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings and quantity surveying.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to learn new estimation tools and methodologies.
